About Towne is a biweekly half-hour arts series that highlights Irving’s excellent local artists and craftsmen, entertainment venues and arts organizations. It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events.

We’ll travel to Valley Ranch for Frost Fest 2018. We’ll attend the world premiere of the locally produced independent film, “Content of Character.” And we’ll get warmed up for ZestFest 2018, returning to the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. Plus, we’ll have details for the African-American History Month Program on February 25 and the Imagine You Conference on March 3, plus we’ll learn about a Leadership Irving initiative.

Next time on About Towne we’ll have highlights from Irving’s Got Talent 2018. We’ll attend the official ribbon cutting at Southern Junction. And we’ll share the love at the 40th Anniversary Irving Heritage Society Valentine Tea. Plus, we’ll have details on the Irving Family YMCA’s “Y Day of Giving,” Brighter Tomorrows annual fundraiser “Chocolate and Chic” and the Irving Symphony’s upcoming concert, “All That Jazz.”
