May 20-21 | President George Bush Turnpike(PGBT) ramps (State Highway 183/161)

Due to scheduled maintenance, the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) will be closing the ramps at SH 183/161 (161 Toll Interchange) from 9 p.m. May 20 to 5 a.m. May 21. Messaging boards are in place to notify motorists in advance of the closures.

Following are the specific ramp closures:

PGBT entrance ramp (SH 183 eastbound to SH 161 southbound)
PGBT entrance ramp (SH 183 westbound to SH 161 northbound)
PGBT exit ramp (SH 161 northbound to 183 westbound)
PGBT exit ramp (SH 161 sorthbound to 183 eastbound)

Through May 2012 | State Highway 183 Eastbound Frontage Road between Story Road and William Brewster Drive

Due to utility, drainage, paving and sound wall construction for the SH 183 expansion project, the frontage road between Story Road and William Brewster Street is closed. One lane is expected to reopen in late April. The highway is estimated to be closed until May. Updated April 23

Through February 2013 | California Crossing: Riverside Drive to Luna Road

Due to the deterioration of the foundation of the westbound approach of the bridge over the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, California Crossing, between Riverside Drive and Luna Road, is closed to traffic. Closure reopening details have not been provided at this time. The eastbound detour route will be north on Riverside Drive to Northwest Highway (Spur 348) and Northwest Highway to the intersection of Northwest Highway with Newkirk Street and California Crossing. The bridge is scheduled for replacement as a TxDOT project beginning in June 2012 with anticipated completion in February 2013. Posted Sept. 2

Through May 2012 | State Highway 183 Eastbound Frontage Road between Story Road and William Brewster Drive

Through February 2013 | Loop 12 Northbound Frontage Road Bridge

Due to the final construction of the east and westbound frontage roads at Loop 12 and State Highway (SH) 114, the Loop 12 Northbound frontage road bridge is closed. It is expected to reopen within six weeks. Westbound State Highway 114 traffic from northbound Loop 12 will be detoured. Motorists can take the existing exit to State Highway 114 from northbound Loop 12. At the frontage road intersection, motorists will turn right onto the eastbound SH 114 frontage road and enter the SH 114 continue to the Spur 482/Story Lane entrance, which is a double clover leaf configuration. Traffic will travel through without stopping to the westbound SH 114 main lanes. Messaging panels are in place to notify motorists of the closure in February 2013. Posted Sept. 12

Through March 2013 | N. O'Connor Road

Due to the replacement of water and wastewater mains, improvements to the storm water systems and widening of the roadway, N. O'Connor Road will be down to two-way traffic through March 2013. Motorists have been advised of the closure via message boards. The roadway is to be widened by adding a continuous left turn lane. The proposed completed roadway will feature five undivided lanes. All overhead utility crossings are to be installed underground. Posted April 18
