Auto Pound Auction Instructions
1. If you are new to our auction, register in the Pound office and get a bidder's number. You only need to register one time with the City of Irving and get a permanent buyer’s number. Just ask the Pound office personnel what your number is if you lost your blue card. Be sure to write legibly and accurately in completing the sign-in sheet. This information is used to prepare your title application.
2. Check the list of names on the wall in the office. If your name is on that list, you must see wrecker contractor before the auction begins.
3. All vehicles are purchased "AS IS WHERE IS". Be sure to look over each car before bidding.
4. Pay for your cars today immediately following the auction, and pick up your car in 6 days or you will have to pay storage charges.
5. Paperwork for title application is prepared by Auctioneer. It will be mailed to the last address on your auction file within one week of auction. Any questions concerning titles should be directed to Lone Star Auctioneers, Inc. at (817)740-9400 or (817)429-3336.
6. Do not write on or make any changes to the title applications. The name that you give for titles is the name we will put on them. We will not change names once the application is completed.
7. City of Irving and the wrecker contractor are not responsible for your car after you make your purchase.
8. Do not take anything out of the cars until after payment is made.
9. It is AGAINST STATE LAW for bidders to agree prior to or during the auction on which items they will be bidding on in order to limit bidding.
