Our mission is to provide timely, responsive, and accurate support for our customers so that they can operate at a higher efficiency level by utilizing Information Technology's leadership, technical assistance, and project coordination.
Information Technology is divided into six divisions:
Operations Team
The Operations Division is responsible for coordinating performance measurement information compilation and distribution to all city departments, assists city departments in the development, administration and analysis of internal and external customer surveys, performs process improvement studies and provides project management services.
Communications Division
The Communication Division is responsible for the planning, designing, installing and maintaining the City's communications equipment and systems
Network Systems
The Network Systems Division is responsible for network management, network security, server management and messaging services including e-mail, black berry and VoIP telephony.
Service Desk
The IT Service Desk Division provides end-user support, incident and request resolution, equipment purchase and installation and application training.
Database and GIS Services
The Database and GIS Services Division has brought together the database administration and GIS groups to jointly provide enterprise database management, database backup and recovery planning, systems integration and application development.
Software Services
The Sofware Services Division is responsible for application support and implementation, e-government solutions and website management, new system evaluation and system analysis and reporting.
