The Corporate Communications Department informs Irving residents about local issues through a variety of mediums. The department has four primary responsibilities:

Administration of the Irving cable franchise
Creation of local programming on the Irving Community Television Network (ICTN)
Coordination of the city's internal and external communications program
Management of the Special Projects Fund for community programming grants
