 Summer Hoops Program
Irving Police will soon begin their first “Summer Hoops” program. This program will provide a safe and secure option for students ages 10-14, who may have trouble keeping busy during the summer break from school.  Participants can practice their fundamental basketball skills, learn team work, and get to know their School Resource Officers outside the school setting.  Don't miss out, make your plans now!

Convenience Store Standards Make Safety A Priority
New guidelines have been approved and put into place to increase safety measures for residents, customers and store employees.
 

   Resident Satisfaction Survey

The Irving Police Department will be conducting a Resident Satisfaction Survey during the months of May and June. Residents who have called the Irving Police Department during the first three months of 2009 may be contacted to rate their experience. Our goal is to receive valuable feedback that will enable us to better serve our citizens.    Census To Begin Address Canvassing Operations

Beginning in late March 2009, the Census Bureau will be sending out address canvassers as a part of early operations.  This workforce will walk or drive through the neighborhoods to check that all addresses are in their database when the questionaire is delivered in March 2010.  The Dallas Regional Census Center has provided the following "Infograms" for your information: English  or Español
