The Victim Services Unit assists victims of crime with crisis counseling, information, referrals, safety planning, legal and personal advocacy and information about Crime Victims’ Compensation, a state program that reimburses victims for certain expenses associated with the crime. Child Protective Services
Child Protective Services investigates reports of child abuse and neglect and provides a range of services to address the needs of a family including parenting education, therapeutic services, chemical dependency programs, community referrals and in-home case management.
