The City of Irving Parks and Recreation Department offers athletic opportunities for all citizens of Irving. The I.A.S.A is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to coordinate the various local athletic organizations of Irving. The I.A.S.A. is governed by a Executive Board, which is made up of representatives for each member organization. The member groups are listed below.

Irving Girls Cheerleader Association ( I.G.C.A. ) The I.G.C.A. is open to children between the ages of 4 and 14. The I.G.C.A. offers both recreational and competition teams. Irving Gymnastics Association ( I.G.A. ) Gymnastics classes are being taught at the Irving Gymnastics Center at 900 N. O'Connor (the Irving High School campus) office hours are Monday-Thursday 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Boys and Girls classes are offered for ages 3 to High School.
