Canal Fest returns for a second year of fun, food, music and culture! Set along the beautiful and unique Mandalay Canal, this festival includes a local art exhibit, cutural dance displays, family friendly activities and attractions, live music, a variety of food and beverage options, and much more.
Admission to the festival is free. Parking is available in area parking garages; fees may vary. In 2013 over 8,000 took part in the festivities; watch this video to see the fun. This year, don't miss out! Call (972) 721-2501 for more information.

TXA 21 Main Stage
Located on the Mandalay Drive Bridge overlooking the canal, the TXA 21 Main Stage features popular Texas bands giving high-energy performances throughout the day. Don't miss these fun and interactive shows, including live horn sections and great dancing!
Baylor Medical Center at Irving Cultural Stage
Positioned along the scenic canal waters, the Baylor Medical Center at Irving Cultural Stage showcases cultural dance and performance groups. Become immersed in cultures from around the world as belly dancers, martial artists, hula dancers and more take the stage.
Step inside of the U.S. - Mexico Cultural and Educational Foundation for a unique exhibit featuring the works of Dallas-area artists and photographers. Several of the artists will be on hand to discuss the pieces, which are also available for purchase.
Canal Activities and Attractions
Along the canal attendees can participate in free activities such as face painting, henna tattoos and caricatures, while enjoying the sounds of acoustic musicians.
A marketplace provides the opportunity to purchase custom and handmade jewelry, clothing and more from vendors. Gondola rides, pedal boat rentals and stand up paddleboard rentals are available.
Canal Fest food vendor spaces are available only to food trucks and trailers. Ethnic cuisines are preferred; space is limited. Spaces are $100-125 and include electricity. Food Vendor Application Packet
Craft vendor booths are available to vendors selling handmade, custom or unique items in one or more of the following categories: jewelry, clothing, bags and accessories, art and decor, or furniture. No information, demonstration or corporate booths are permitted. Corporations wishing to participate may find sponsorship information here
