27th Annual Ms. Mature Irving Pageant
Friday October 2, 7 p.m.
Lovely ladies will try for the title and crown of Ms. Mature Irving. Singing, dancing, comedy, and more. You have to be there to believe it, rooting for the contestants is a blast. Join us for this evening of memories and you will definitely be entertained. The energy of the crowd will amaze you. Tickets are $10 for adults in advance and $12 at the door, Children 12 and under are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. We will see you at the Carpenter Performance Hall in the Irving Arts Center for this wonderful night. Get your tickets today.

If you are interested in being a contestant this is your chance. Ladies aged 60 and over, it is your time to shine. It is the biggest and most rewarding challenge you will ever present yourself, and you will have a blast and make friends doing it. Flu Shot Clinic
Wednesday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
$20 per flu vaccination and $48 per Pneumovax vaccination.
Protect yourself from the flu, join Heritage Senior Center and Home Health Services of Dallas for a Flu Shot Clinic. Medicare and most insurance are accepted, file that day and you can get your inoculation free. No reservation required, shots are given on a first come first serve basis. You will receive a number and be waited on in that order. Information will be available that day on the upcoming H1N1 inoculations as well, which will probably take place later in the year.  Call (972) 721-2496 for information.

Heritage Singers
1st and 3rd Mondays at 7:00 p.m.

There’s Nothing Like A Great Book Club
3rd Thursday of the month 7 to 8 p.m.

Beginners/Intermediate Acrylic Painting
Tuesdays 1 – 2:30 p.m.  $15 monthly
Learn this wonderful technique from professional artist Lisa McNamara. You may purchase a kit for an additional $15 which contains all the paints, brushes, palette knife and the carrying case too If you already have your own set of painting supplies hen feel free to bring those. Tuesday Night Dancin’
7 to 9:30 p.m. each Tuesday $5 per person
Come and dance in the best senior center ballroom in the Metroplex! Light refreshments are served. Live music with a different band every week, you will hear the best ballroom and country western music available. Nervous? We offer ballroom dancing lessons from 6 to 7 prior to each ballroom dance. It is fun and enjoyable, we’ll see you at the dance. H20 Power
Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. $10 monthly or $3 per class
Water Exercise with a kick. This class is designed to raise your heart rate, as well as toning and strengthening your muscles. If you have never experienced H2O power come out and see what we’re all about. If you have taken H2O in the past join us again. The Heritage is one of the best, don’t miss out. Spice up your current routine with this fun and healthy class.
