Neighborhood Associations Receive Grant Funds for Programs

The City of Irving has awarded 20 neighborhood and homeowner associations with annual grants between $250 and
$1,500 for organizational projects through the Community Partnership Fund.

Administered by the Corporate Communications Department, the grant funds are used to provide money to assist organized neighborhoods with various projects.

The matching grants allow associations to leverage the organization’s existing capital and/or the time and talents of their members with grant funds received from the city in an effort to improve their communities. The money can be used for beautification efforts, communication initiatives and neighborhood events.

Associations receiving funding through this year’s Community Partnership Fund are: Arts District, Barrington Court, Barton Estates, Cardinal Village, The Collections, Grauwyler Heights, Hackberry Creek, Historic Hospital District, Hospital District South, Irving Hospital District, Irving Lake, Lakeside Landing Phase I, Lakeside Landing Phase II, Mandalay Place at Las Colinas, Nichols Way, Northwest Place, Owen Point, Sherwood Forest, The Villages and University Hills.
