Research Tips

Due to the nature of class assignments, books listed on the pathfinders may already be checked out. Here are some tips to help you find the information you need:

  • All of the pathfinders contain some reference material, which cannot be checked out. Bring money for photocopies.
  • Check the shelf around the books listed, as they will be on a similar topic.
  • If you plan to do research on the Internet, call ahead to reserve time on one of the library’s Internet PCs.

For citing Internet sources on your bibliography, most teachers accept the Modern Language Association (MLA) guide.
