Internet and Computer Classes

The Central Library offers a variety of Internet and computer classes for residents of all ages who want to learn more about using the Internet, typing a résumé, doing financial and business research, or completing a school assignment. Classes are held in the Central Library’s PC Lab on the second floor. See below for the current schedule.

Some of the adult classes offered include:

  • Job Center classes
  • Basic and advanced Internet searching
  • Doing research with online business databases
  • Using free Internet e-mail services
  • Introduction to Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Some classes are available in Spanish.

Attendance for each class is limited to ten people; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

When the lab is not being used for a class, the PCs are available for use of the Microsoft Office software, educational and reference resources, or Internet searching.
