The file contains a floppy disk containing the remembrances of Dorris Cleere and her life as a child in the Sowers Community during the 1930s and 1940s. Sowers was an unincorporated farming community established in the mid-19th century that was located in today's western Irving. The file also contains a hard copy of the essay. Mrs. Cleere typed the paper as part of a computer training course at the North Lake College south campus.
