     The file contains a three-page narrative written by Kenneth Futch about his experiences in WWII as a bomber pilot and as a prisoner of war after his plane was shot down in 1942. Futch was a 1935 graduate of Irving High School. He joined the U. S. Army Air Corp in August 1942. He was trained on B-17s and was assigned to England where he flew raids over France and Germany. On November 4, 1943, his plane was shot down and he and his crew became prisoners of war.
