The file contains a program and two photos related to the dedication of the “Triple Cross” needlework created by Thelma Coleman, which Jim Pawelczyk took with him on Space Shuttle Flight STS-90. Dr. Pawelczyk was a member of the congregation for a time and agreed to take the small piece of needlework with him on the space flight. The congregation then framed photos and information on the flight and the material that was taken into space and had a dedication ceremony when they hung the frame in the church building on October 18, 1998.
The framed material has also been donated to the Irving Archives
(see accession 0506-207).
