     The file contains the pages of a guest sign-in book from the Harwood Hinton talk “The Irving I Remember.”  Professor Hinton grew up in Irving and attended Irving schools. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 1948. He got his Master of Arts from Columbia and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin.  Harwood Hinton was a history professor at the University of Arizona until his retirement in 1992. Professor Hinton returned to Irving at the request of the Irving Heritage Society to give a talk about his memories of the Irving in which he grew up during the 1930s and 1940s.
