     The file contains a biography of Carl Range (1892-1963) who was a long-time Irving postmaster. Carl Range and his brother Clarence owned a service station in Irving during the 1920s. In the early 1930s, he went to work for the post office. He was made post-master in Irving during the late 1930s and served as such until the 1950s. He died in 1963. The publication is spiral bound and contains color pictures of the Ranges and various locations relating to the life of Carl Range. The biography was researched and written by Richard Bennett in 2004-05. Mr. Bennett is a postman stationed at the Carl Range Station in Irving. The file also contains a CD version of the booklet.
