Description

The file contains a blue and yellow Texas Centennial pennant. The word Dallas is spelled out on the blue field of the pennant with a cowboy on a bucking horse in front of a star and the dates 1836-1936 on the left side of the pennant.  Also included is an auditorium program for the show entitled “The Show of the Century a Super-Musical Extravaganza with Billy House & Co.” which ran during the 1934 Texas State Fair. The program contains advertisements for the Baker Hotel and the Adolphus Hotel. The file also contains a Texas State Fair metal medallion on a leather strap from the 1907 Texas State Fair. Also included is a gold pendant service award from GTE (General Telephone and Electronics was once the name of the company that supplied Irving's telephone service).
