The file contains two Texas Wagon Train patches.  The patches were given to scouts that camped with the Texas Sesquicentennial wagon train when it made its stop in Irving in June 1986.  The file also contains four copies of a four-page brochure entitled “The Boy Scouts of America Presents the Tenth Annual Cub Scout Family Historic Trail Hike.” The hike was held on October 23, 1999.  The scouts and their parents hiked the “Grape Vine Springs” trail.  The cover-leaves of the publication are a map of the pioneer trails that passed through the Irving area.  The back page is recognition of sponsoring groups.  Also included is an article from Scouting magazine about the Cub Scout historic trail hike in Irving, 2003.

The map in the brochure is a copy of the one developed for the book Irving: A Texas Odyssey, with the addition of the DART Trinity Railway Express route.
