The Public Works/ Engineering Department has created an opportunity for volunteers of all ages to help educate residents about clean water and our environment. Volunteers are asked to commit to serve a minimum of 2 hours and each participant or participant’s parent/ guardian is required to sign a waiver of liability.

• Storm Tile Project

Duties will include affixing 6-inch by 6-inch ceramic tiles to the tops of storm drain inlets or small 4-inch round rubber markers to the front of curbs at the inlets. Volunteers will also put door hangers on residences in the geographic area where the tiles are to be placed to inform citizens of the program.
