The Board of Health
Studies and recommends to the City Council matters pertaining to public health.
Consists of nine voting members and four non-voting members. Voting members are one physician, a representatives from the Irving Shool District, one representative from Irving Baylor Medical Center and seven Irving residents. There is also a City Council member that will serve as liaison to the Board and three ex-officio members.
Generally meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. (call for date) at the Civic Center.
