  1. True Love Awaits Pet Adoptions

    February 10, 2018, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Adoption Kennels

    Looking for love? There’s nothing like the unconditional affection of a pet, and on Feb. 10, adoptable animals at the Irving Animal Care Campus (IACC) will be available for only $14.

    Animals being adopted will be:

    • Up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies if the animal is more than four months of age
    • Spayed or neutered
    • Given a general dewormer and treated for fleas and ticks
    • Microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch
    • Heartworm tested (dogs over 6 months of age)
    • FeLV / FIV tested (cats over 6 months of age)
    • Given 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance (with a valid email address)
    • Given a sample bag of Science Diet food

    Children ages 3-5 can join us for a preschool Valentine’s Day party. We’ll be making thumbprint dough ornaments and heart-shaped bird feeders, exploring with Valentine’s play dough, and enjoying a meal with friends. Please bring valentines to share. Cost is $5 per child; please register by Feb. 5.

    Youth and teens: have you ever wanted a tattoo? Now’s your chance! This month’s Jam will feature henna tattoos. They’re not permanent, but will last up to two months.
