    Adults learn to create, edit, format and save a basic document, and work with templates. Basic computer skills are required. Classes are limited and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class time. No registration is required. Classes are in the computer lab unless otherwise noted.

  1. I "Heart" YA Book Club discusses The Wrath and the Dawn

    This month's book is The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. In this re-imagining of The Arabian Nights, Shahrzad plans to avenge the death of her dearest friend by volunteering to marry the murderous boy-king of Khorasan, but discovers not all is as it seems within the palace. I "Heart" YA is a book club for those of us who can't get enough of Young Adult literature. Come connect with fellow readers as we discuss a wide range of YA books. Refreshments will be served. Adults and teens welcome.

  2. The Perils of Predatory Lending

    The League of Women Voters of Irving kickoff their 2018-19 Speakers' Series with a legislative update on pay day lending in Texas in light of the 2nd legislative session. Speakers include Irving Councilman Oscar Ward (Place 5), Katrice Rand (Salvation Army Social Services) & Jearlene Miller (League of Women Voters Irving). Free and open to the public, refreshments will be served!
