Meets in Rehearsal Hall.
Under the artistic direction of Larry Keigwin, KEIGWIN + COMPANY comes to Irving for a two-week community residency. Inspired by Maurice Ravel’s iconic score, a cast drawn from more than 50 members of the community will perform a large-scale dance celebration, “Bolero Texas.” The free, open-to-the-public workshop with Larry Keigwin kicks things off on Sept. 18. Following the first workshop, rehearsals for the creation of “Bolero Texas” will take place in the evenings over the course of the next two weeks. No prior dance training is required to participate.
