Library Adult Classes

  1. Citizenship Class Registration

    August 19, 2017, 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM @ East Branch Library Program Room

    Register for a 13 week class to prepare for the U.S. Citizenship exam. The class takes place on Saturdays between Aug. 19 and Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the East Branch Library. The cost of the class is $30, and includes a book. Presented by Catholic Charities of Dallas.

    Teachers: Just in time for back to school, get children's books at these unbelievable prices --- paperbacks are .25 each and hardbacks are .50 each. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted, and proceeds benefit the Irving Public Library. While you're there, meet and greet library staff, enjoy refreshments from 9 a.m. to noon, and grab this opportunity to sign up for a library card.
