This month's book is Virals by Kathy Reichs, featuring Tory Brennan, the niece of acclaimed forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan, a name familiar to television viewers. Tory and a group of teenagers living on a secluded island develop heightened senses and animal-quick reflexes after they're exposed to an experimental virus following a dog rescue. They must then use their curiosity and newfound gifts to solve a cold-case murder that has suddenly become hot. I "Heart" YA is a book club for those of us who can't get enough of Young Adult literature. Come connect with fellow readers as we discuss a wide range of YA books. Adults and teens are welcome.
