  1. Irving Reads: Not Your Father's Western Author Panel

    Join us for a lively conversation of the many directions adult western novels are going in 2017. Panelists include Melissa Lenhardt (cozy western), Henry McLaughlin (western suspense), and Arianne "Tex" Thompson (fantasy-western fusion). A limited number of the book "True Grit" will be given out at the event. A selection of titles by the authors will be available for sale and signing.

    Irving Reads is a monthlong promotion of reading books as a community through conversation and cultural programs. This year’s activities are sponsored by the Friends of Irving Public Library, the Irving Independent School District, the Irving Arts Center and the City of Irving Parks and Recreation.
