    Meet award-winning author Susan Stevens Crummel as she discusses her books, the western theme and the writing process. Limited number of "Tumbleweed Stew / Sopa de Matojos" will be given out at the event. Select books by Crummel will be available for sale and signing.

  1. Chapter Books and Cozy Nooks Book Club discusses Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa

    October 21, 2017, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM @ South Irving Library

    To celebrate Irving Reads, this month's selection is Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa by Erica Silverman and Betsy Lewin. We'll discuss the book and participate in themed activities, including a craft. Free chapter books are given out monthly. Limited to the first 10 children. Grades 1-3. Today's meeting will be on the second floor.

  1. High Voltage Book Club discusses Walk on Earth a Stranger

    Students in grades 9-12 who are interested in the best of new Young Adult novels are invited. This month we read and discuss Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson. Be sure to meet Rae Carson at the South Irving Library at 7 p.m. on October 10 as part of the month-long Irving Reads series of events.
