  1. Perseverance: Visit with Author Rae Carson

    Young Adult author Rae Carson (The Girl of Fire and Thorns series, Gold Seer Trilogy) meets fans and discusses her books. A limited number of "Walk on Earth a Stranger" will be given away at the event. Select titles by the author will be available for sale and signing.

    Irving Reads is a monthlong promotion of reading books as a community through conversation and cultural programs. This year’s activities are sponsored by the Friends of Irving Public Library, the Irving Independent School District, the Irving Arts Center and the City of Irving Parks and Recreation.
