    Schedule your appointment to have your pet spayed or neutered at an affordable cost. Pets are dropped off by 8 a.m. and picked up the same day around 4 p.m. Services provided by Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP).

  2. Neighborhood Meeting: Nursery Road, South Irving Hike/Bike Trail Projects

    February 19, 2018, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Former Central Library Auditorium

    Residents are invited to join the City of Irving CIP Department for a Road to the Future neighborhood meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 to discuss paving and utility improvements on Nursery Road and a South Irving hike/bike trail project scheduled to begin in August.

    This work is part of the City of Irving's "Road to the Future: $100 Million in 5 Years" program supporting road reconstruction and rehabilitation across the city.

  1. Red Cross Lifeguard Class

    February 17, 2018 - February 19, 2018 @ North Lake Natatorium

    Want to learn skills that will help you save lives? Become a certified lifeguard.

    Prerequisite: Minimum age 15. Successful skills test, which includes 300-yard continuous swim; a 10-pound brick retrieval from 7 to 10 feet depth of water followed by a 20-yard return carrying the brick; and treading water for two minutes without using hands. Test must be completed one week before class or must have instructor approval.

    Successful completion of the course will result in American Red Cross Life Guard/First Aid, CPR-Professional Rescuer, and AED certifications.
