Connie is yet another stray that came into our shelter on Nov. 10. Unfortunately, she has Pit Bull in her and that has most people looking the other direction. But what those people do not know is that Connie is a gentle girl that would make someone a fantastic companion. You want someone to give you kisses on a bad day? Connie's got them. This girl has so much love to give, she's just waiting for someone to share it with.
Dec. 4: Update on Connie
Well, she waited patiently for someone to come get her and they did! Connie got adopted yesterday afternoon and will be spending the first of many holidays to come with her new family.
Paloma came into the shelter as an owner release because they were moving and could not take her along. She is about 4 months old and loves all the attention she can get. She prefers to be held like a baby in a cradle position and will turn on her purr machine when you pet her. You've got to pay this gal a visit! She is available for adoption now.
Nov. 10: Update on Paloma
Paloma was adopted on Saturday. We wish that little girl and her family the best of luck!
Tess came into the Irving Animal Shelter on Oct. 26 as a stray. She is about 4 years old and weighs about 35 pounds. She is a featured pet because of her sweet bubbly nature! She always greets everyone with a wag of her tail but gets overlooked because she is a bit older. Her favorite thing to do is sit on your lap and watch everything that's going on. Tess has not met anyone that she does not like and is looking for a forever home right now! Please come check her out, she is ready for adoption!
Nov. 6: Update on Tess
Tess is still at the Irving Animal Shelter waiting for someone to come in and give her a chance. Everyone who meets her falls in love but no one has stepped up just yet. Come in. Take her out for a walk. Give her a chance to win you over. You'll be glad you did!
Nov. 17: Update #2 on Tess
An adoption partner came and took Tess! We are so happy that she's another step closer to finding her forever home.
