Reading has its rewards especially in the summer where teens can earn great prizes for devoting just five hours each week to reading. What can teens earn? We're glad you asked, because each library location has a designated cart piled high with free books, tote bags, and even t-shirts, in addition to coupons to their favorite eateries, all while supplies last, just for teen readers. As if that wasn't enough, one lucky teen will win an iPad mini! Each weekly reading log your teen submits to the Irving Public Library increases their chances of winning.
When they're not reading, teens have a rocking summer ahead of them with an author panel, crafts, science, movies and musicals! See what Irving Public Library has in store for them in July. All events are for teens in grades 6-12 unless otherwise noted.
