Do you remember the first time you read a book AFTER watching a movie it inspired? Mine was The World According to Garp by John Irving, and it was one of the first "adult novels" I read as a young adult. While the movie was funny (it starred a young Robin Williams), the book was so good I couldn't put it down.
If you like comparing the storytelling in movies and books, join us for Book to the Big Screen Movie Fest, happening at Irving Library locations in February. We'll watch a movie together, and then stick around afterwards to discuss both.
