Annual Banquet Honors Officers, Civilian Employees

Police Banquet

The Irving Police Department invites residents and businesses to join in celebrating its outstanding employees at the 22nd annual Police Awards Banquet.

The banquet is scheduled for March 27 at the Irving Convention Center, 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd. A silent auction begins at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. The awards presentation and live auction will follow.

Securing a sponsorship package or purchasing a table or a ticket gives residents and business leaders the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the men and women of the Irving Police Department, while also supporting the Family Advocacy Center. The Family Advocacy Center provides critical support to Irving families and victims of violent crime.  All of the proceeds from the event go directly to providing services to those in need.

“The Irving Police Department is one of the best in the country,” said Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer. “The banquet provides great fun, good food and an opportunity to socialize.”

Banquet awards include Officer of the Year, Supervisor of the Year, New Officer of the Year, Civilian of the Year and Chief’s Unit Awards, among others.

For sponsorship, donation or ticket information, visit IrvingPD.com or email Katherine Roberts. Sponsorship opportunities will close March 14. For more information on the banquet’s beneficiary, the Irving Family Advocacy Center, visit cityofIrving.org/2623/Family-Advocacy-Center.
