 Economic Development work is divided into three areas:
Property Sales / Foreclosures References
  • Information about Irving Independent School District (ISD) Surplus Property may be obtained by contacting the Irving ISD Tax Office.
  • Information regarding the current ownership, size, and tax valuation of property may be obtained at the Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD).
  • Tax Foreclosure Resales and Foreclosure notice requirements for Dallas County are handled through the Dallas County Public Works: Property Division.
  • Tax Sales or Sheriff's Sales for tax foreclosed property with taxes owed to the City of Irving, Dallas County, and Irving ISD are handled by Linebarger, Goggan, Blair & Sampson, LLP.
  • To purchase surplus property owned by the City of Irving, fill out the Bidder's Notification Form (PDF) with the city's Purchasing Department to receive notices regarding future solicitations or sales. Real estate and property is listed as category 26.
  • Visit the Dallas County website for general Dallas County Property Division information.
  • Visit the City of Irving Housing and Human Services for information regarding the Irving HHS Homebuyer Program, Down Payment Assistance, Home Restoration, Rental Assistance Programs, and Community Development Block Grants.
