About Towne is a biweekly half-hour arts series that highlights Irving’s excellent local artists and craftsmen, entertainment venues and arts organizations. It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events.

We attend Chocolate and Chic 2018 and we meet some of the young artists featured in the Irving ISD Middle Schools Art Show. And we check out the Hope Nation book launch at South Irving Library. Plus, we have details on the Irving ISD’s Go Irving Showcase, Momentum Dance Company’s “Selections for Spring” and the Irving Black Arts Council’s next production, “Many Faces of Women."

April 26-May 9

Next time on About Towne we’ll check out Media Day at the Alamo Drafthouse. We’ll go Hollywood at TexasFest 2018. And we’ll showcase some of the young artists featured in the Annual Exhibition of High School Art. Plus, we’ll have the details on the Irving Concert Series and the return of the Concert Series 4 Kids.
