All dogs and cats, ages four months and older, must be registered with the City of Irving. Each pet must be registered. Registration helps reduce the number of pets held at the animal helter by ensuring the quick return of lost pets to their owners.
City Registration Fees
$5 if animal is microchipped and spayed/neutered.
$10 if animal is not microchipped but is spayed/neutered.
$15 if animal is not microchipped or spayed/neutered
Free for seniors (65+) or Physically Disabled (must provide proof)
How Do I Register My Pet?
Online or By Mail
Pet license renewals may be paid online or by mail through PetData. Processing takes about 3 to 5 days.
*if you received a notice of violation, processing must be complete before deadline to avoid citation(s).
Residents can register their pets at the Irving Animal Care Campus, located at 4140 Valley View Lane. Be sure to bring a current rabies vaccination certificate and microchip information (if applicable).
